Need something fabricated, restored or repaired? Don't have the time, tools or expertise? We love spending our time, using our tools and applying our expertise to make and restore precious items.

Good Times through Learning! We hosted many classes, workshops, lectures and events related to our shop areas as well as our mission of grassroots resiliency.

Our membership structure was designed to accommodate the needs of our diverse Community. Although there are many options for makerspace memberships, our pricing for day use, regular hobbyist and small businesses may be found below. Work trade memberships were an invaluable part of our success.

I managed a 19,000 sq ft facility for members and the Community to use. We transformed our basement driveway into a permaculture garden oasis within the industrial heart of Portland. Our facility housed everything from industrial wood and metal shops to technology clusters as well as large creative and event spaces.

The Garage was my commitment to the Sharing Economy. Through our Library of Things, we expanded service offerings beyond the norm and believe this is a valuable asset to any Community. We helped members, "Upsize your Garage. Downsize your Footprint".
